Sin, Science and Salvation
Although this is the first book I have published it is not the first I have written!
The aim of this book is to show that modern science is not the go-to for knowledge about things. This is primarily because it doesn't acknowledge sin and the fall. Modern science depends upon a prior set of beliefs which usually rule out the supernatural and miracle.
In contrast the Scriptures are true - 100% true - and these must be the basis and foundation for all life.
The book has three parts. In the first part I discuss the nature of sin and the fall both in terms of what we observe and from the Scriptures. In part two I consider the status, nature and some history of modern science. The final part outlines how wonderful and extensive the salvation of God is!
Hearing What God has Spoken
This book is all about the nature of the Bible. It starts by considering the four connected themes of revelation, inspiration, preservation and illumination.
In the second section the focus is on Scriptural representations of the Bible.
Scriptures of Ecclesiasties
This work is an attempt to show that Solomon's work (inspired by God) points us away from a trust in man and his mind.
Modern science, the latest expression of mankind's thinking, is just as vain and futile as modern philosophy or any religion.
How are we to think? Unless we begin with Christ the Creator, why should our efforts come up with anything true?
God has spoken both in His word and in creation! Without a correct view of Scripture we cannot hope to grasp creation aright.
Day Of The Lord is Coming
If you had only one chance to say something to someone I wonder what it would be?
For me the most important thing would be:
"Get ready because judgement is coming!"
That is the main message of Zephaniah. God will judge the living and the dead and it will be a terrible day - an awful day.
And yet there is no need to fear because the Mighty One has come to SAVE! Praise His name,
Now is the time to consider what Jesus Christ has come to do and whom He is - the Saviour of the world.
But one day it will be too late to consider this.
House of cards
This work is all about the failure of evolution, and in particular about the failure of "theistic evolution."
It is written for a Christian audience of all ages and abilities.
